GRAPHIC DESIGN

ABOUT ME!

I am a designer who draws inspiration from historical events and personal experiences.

I aim to highlight stories that often go unnoticed in diverse formats, including illustrations, book designs, and posters. Each project is an opportunity to reflect on the past while advocating for ongoing progress.

My designs strive to create a dialogue around these themes, encouraging viewers to reflect on their significance.I blend analog and digital through various formats, including illustrations, posters, and book layouts. Ultimately, my work celebrates untold stories by promoting a deeper understanding of the issues that shape our world.

LEGACIES IN COLOR
Omnium Gatherum celebrates the Graphic Design BFA class of Spring 2025. The titke Omnium Gatherum desvribes our cohort whic is diverse in both our design strategies and our backgrounds. We are a hodgepodge if various cohorts who have supported each other through the ups and downs of our academic pursuits. For this exhibition, my peers and I divided into teams to create the branding, displays, finding a location, and the set up of the entire exhibition.

I decided to display Legacies in Color, which is an educational and engaging coloring. book celebrating influential women throughout history. Split into four subsections: Athletes That Broke Barriers, Pioneers of Innovation, Women Behind the Frontlines, and Creators and Storytellers. This coloring book represents different women who helped form our world today.

APPALACHIAN STATE ART AND DESIGN EXHIBITION

NEW RIVER GORGE LINOCUT
For the Appalachian State Art and Design Expo, I was selected to display my New River Gorge Linocut. This bridge is signifcant to me because it is a symbol of my families roots in West Virginia. I decided to print my linocut on paper that my grandmother stained with rust, further connecting our art together as one.
